Experience running and developing routes in ethnic and Hispanic markets preferred.

Bilingual Junior Collections Associate (Houston)
In this collection role, you will prepare and post daily deposits to G/L accounting application appropriate bank, A/R subsidiary ledger and designated invoices. You will also confirm deposited funds with daily bank records and ensure receivables are collected within terms; make necessary collection calls; confirm receipts of wired and/or direct deposited funds, while performing the following duties:
- Prepare delinquent account notification letters.
- Notification and escalation of delinquent accounts when management intervention is required.
- Recommendation of activation suspension and escalation thereof.
- Preparation of necessary documentation to manage receivables of accounts in default.
- Process and account for returned checks; initiate and follow-up on plans to replace funds.
- Preparation of IRS Form 8300 “Cash Payments in Excess of $10,000” when such requirements are met.
- Prepare and send weekly payment reminder statements to customers.
- Assist customers when questions arise regarding account status and/or disputed items.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following abilities, attributes, experience and skills:
- High School diploma or its equivalent; Associates degree preferred
- Ability to work independently on numerous activities and prioritize them properly while meeting deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of PC based software and corresponding applications used in assigned areas.
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience in A/R Credit & Collection or Billing. (preferably in the Broadcasting, Cable, telecommunications or ad agency or print media industry)
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint a plus.
- Must be proficient in financial software package (eg: Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, etc)
- Must be proficient in discrepancy resolution with external and internal contacts.
- Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required.

Bilingual Junior A/P Specialist (Houston)
As an ambitious, passionate and tireless A/P professional with strong attention to detail skills, we will rely on you to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. You also will maintain contact with management, staff, vendors and clients and observe confidentiality of client and Company matters.
Responsibilities:
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process three-way purchase order (PO) matching invoices, up to 100 plus line items
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
• Process check requests
• Audit and process credit-card bills
• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks
• Maintain 1099’s
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
• Assist in month-end closing
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent; college courses in Accounting preferred
• Ability to speak and write English and Spanish fluently is a must
• 2+ years Accounts Payable experience, including thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, including basic knowledge/experience of basic accounting principles and the ability to learn corporate specific procedures
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook; 10-key by touch, Oracle experience a plus
• Ability to type at least 60-65 wpm
• Proven ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Effective communication, documentation and research skills
• Problem solving, data analysis and multi-tasking skills a must
